Delightful Layout

 Delightful Layout -
This is a layout that both my BFF and I did two weeks ago. Hers is slightly different as far as the title and flowers are concerned but other then that, they are the same.

First, she picked out green papers that worked well together. (This layout is very easy and can be done in any color.) Also make sure to grab a brown and white piece of 12 x 12 cardstock. Second, cut the brown cardstock to 10 x 10, and the white cardstock to 9.5 x 9.5. Third, layer the white on top of the brown then on top of the green, glue down. The dimensions for the large green striped paper is 8.75 x 4.375 (or 4 3/8)and 2 x 2, the green and white plaid pieces are 2.25 x 2.25 and 4.375 (4 3/8) x 6.5. And the brown square is 2 x 2.

We made all the flowers with two punches, a large daisy and a small flower punch. Two flowers were made out of white cardstock that was stamped with a background stamp, then chalked gray. The third flower was punched from gray patterned paper. The leaves are from the Recollections line at Michael's. We added dots of liquid glue and adhered crystals around the flowers. And then, I used a rub on that I had from one of the CK conventions, that just happened to match. (My goal is trying to use my supplies without running out to buy more).

Lastly, taking a white or chocolate pen, we added dash marks, so it gives the layout a sewn look.
