You are so special...

You are so special...

Hi again all. I know two layouts in a week, wow! He he.
I told you I have to get this book done for my hubby's grandmother. She is super amazing so I want this book to be very special.

For this layout I used the MME Lost & Found Two collection of papers again.
I printed the pictures with two in black and white, one in color, to give that one center stage.

Again the embellishments I used were minimal because I want the pictures to be the most important thing.
Another thing I want this layout to show, all of these layouts for this matter, is how very special Gram is to all of us. She is an amazing person.

And she is one of the most important parts of our family.

I hope I am doing a good job showcasing that.

Thank you for viewing my blog today.
Have a wonderful sun filled afternoon.

Vintage Style Double Page Layout

Vintage Style Double Page Layout

Hi everyone. Long time no post. I know, I am trying but it's life. Doing too many things and there isn't enough time in the day.

I was asked to make a scrapbook for my husband's grandmother's 80th birthday.
The scrapbook will include all of the family members.
So I started making pages, to move the process along, I don't have pictures from everyone yet, that is turning out to be the hardest part.

So of course I turned to MME to make these pages. I love their papers and everything they have. I wish the stores around me would carry more then just the papers. All their embellishments are so pretty.

This is the Lost & Found Two Collection of papers.
This has to be my favorite line ever.
I love the color scheme of these papers. They work really well together. You can mix and match all day long.

This layout has enough room for three 4x6 photos.
The embellishments were done on the simple side so that the photos can take center stage.
For this book I am printing the photos out with two being black and white and one color. I think it looks good that way and then you don't have clashing colors either from one picture to the next.

The papers as I said are MME.
The wooden heart is Studio Calico.
The flowers are Prima.
I used a Martha Stewart punch for the two borders.
And the stamps I used were out of the $1 bin at Michael's.

I hope you enjoyed my layout.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Have an amazing day.

Love

Love

Hi.
Today I have a lovely layout I want to share with you with one of our furry friends on it. This is Paris. She is one of the babies. She is getting so big. I can't believe how time flies. Paris is our scaredy cat. She is afraid of everything. I swear she might even be afraid of herself.

I am not too sure about this layout. I love the papers. I am just not sure about the embellishments. I had to make my own since I couldn't find any to go on it. I looked and will continue to look. But so far, in all the stores around me at least, I found nothing the right color. I did have the brad I needed. But as far as other mustard yellow things, I had to make them myself with a stamp and some paper. Normally I am okay with that, but I don't know.

I do however love this picture of Paris. Here she is sitting on part of the obstacle course my husband started building for them, so far them have a bridge and three tree stumps to climb on. They love it. Maybe it's all dogs, but I don't really remember our lab and shepard climbing on things as much as these pitbulls do. They absolutely love it. I am excited for spring. I can't wait to see what we can find them or make them to play on.

The more I learn about these dogs, the more I love them.

The papers I used to make this layout are a paper line called "In Bloom" by My Mind's Eye.
The black and white washi tape is made by Recollections.
The black rinestones were bought at a CKC a couple years ago.
All the stamps are from the dollar bin at Michaels or ACMoore.

I hope you enjoyed my layout.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Have a wonderful day.
